The prestigious Fr. Extross Memorial GK Quiz for class 10th was held on 19 August 2023. This quiz gave the students a platform to exhibit their intellectual prowess and instilled a sense of healthy completion in all. The event began with the introduction of the teams namely Magellan (10-D), Columbus (10-B), Cook (10-F), Polo (10-A), Amundsen (10-E) and Vasco (10-C) was followed by the announcement of the rules and the first round.
There were rounds such as Novel Knowledge and Political round which made the participants scour every corner of their mind to recall the answer and some rounds like the Picture Perfectta and the Video Quiz Voyage which kept the audience thoroughly entertained.
There was a cut-throat completion between all the teams who strived to win and give their best. There were 7 rounds in total but the quiz masters surprised the audience and participants by a mystery round which gave the losing teams a chance to make their comeback.
The event finally concluded with the announcement of the results which are as follows: -
1st Position: - Vasco (10-C)
2nd Position: - Magellan (10-D)
3rd Position: - Columbus (10-B)
In conclusion, this event increased the knowledge of the students and inspired them to keep learning.
