In the quiet embrace of winter's tender breath, Christmas whispers secrets of magic to the world. Starlight dances in the tinsel-lit tapestry of dreams. On the misty morning of 23 December 2023, the air was sparkling with anticipation, waiting for the yearly glamour of Christmas to begin. The school choir started off the assembly, striking up beautifully resonating melodies. Everyone lost themselves in the harmonious notes, thanking God for blessing them. Following the prayer, the audience was told the contemporary importance of Christmas. Articulate speakers made a thorough case of not counting Christmas off as simply a historic event. Christmas is much more, helping people renew their sense of hope. It allows them to partake in sharing their joys and sorrows. It motivates people across the world to care for one another.
Afterward, an engaging play performed by the students portrayed the sacred events that took place before and during Christ's sacred birth. It renewed the feeling of reverence and created a sense of connection to the origin of Christmas. Beautiful dancers dressed in yellow, gold, and white gave the surroundings a soothing aura as everyone's heartbeats coincided with that of the slow-paced, soothing music.
The Santas arrived on a motorcycle and a jeep, the unexpected and festive entrance ignited a roar of excitement. As everyone joined in for 'We wish you a Merry Christmas', the enchanting assembly drew to a close with delightful carols sung by the school choir.
