"Debate is not just about proving a point; it's about refining perspectives, challenging assumptions, and igniting the fire of knowledge in the pursuit of truth."
The remarkable and splendid INTRA-SECTION ENGLISH DEBATE for the 10th standard was held on 5 August 2023.
The esteemed judges Mrs.TRIBENI MALVEA and Mr. GOPAL SHARMA with our regarded Master of Ceremonies (MOC) MANYA SINGH and VARUN MOOLRAJANI presided over the debate with utmost professionalism and proficiency.
The subject under discussion in the debate was "Digital technology is making children's life better." All the arguments stated by the speakers were well-framed, genuine, and compelling.
Debaters in favor emphasized that digital technology has unlocked boundless opportunities for creative expression. Children can now explore various artistic outlets, such as digital art, music composition, and video production, using a myriad of creative software and applications. These tools provide a platform for young artists to showcase their talent to a global audience, encouraging self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
Conversely, proponents of the opposing view potential for digital technology to foster social isolation among children. They argued that excessive screen time and reliance on virtual interactions might hinder face-to-face communication, leading to difficulties in forming meaningful relationships. The proponents of this viewpoint expressed concerns that children might become emotionally detached, losing valuable interpersonal skills that are essential for navigating real-world scenarios.
All the speakers eloquently conveyed their arguments and presented their points fluently and precisely.
