From 13th to 14th October 2023, the Art Club of St. Xaviers Senior Secondary School hosted a magnificent and diverse art exhibition- STROKES, with the motto- 'Let's Paint For A Cause'. With more than 300 artworks, the exhibition promised to captivate and impress all who attended. It had topics spanning across Mandela Art, Gods and Goddesses, birds and animals, anime, fantasy, nightlife, feelings, and much more, reflecting the depth and variety of the artists' creativity. The extraordinary spectrum of themes made the exhibition a visual feast for the attendees.
Mr. Amarjeet Kumar, the honored chief guest, when asked about the exhibition, replied that the artworks and the effort put in by the artists was astounding. 70% of the proceeds from the artwork sales went directly to the artists, while 30% proceeds went to charity, reflecting a commitment to both supporting young artists and giving back to the community. This event served not only as a platform for artistic expression but also a noble homage to society. This heartwarming event was hosted under the tutelage of Mrs. Khushboo Khangarot, the teacher coordinator for the Art Club. After all, this world is a canvas to our imagination.
