The much awaited Annual Swimming Meet commenced on the 2nd of September, 2023. It was a testament to the athletic talent of Xavier’s that was put to display. All the athletes from all the houses tried their best to win laurels for their house. The events ranged from Individual Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, etc. to Relay races all of which inspired the sense of awe and amazement.
Giving an exuberant display of skill, Samriddhi Taunk from Reds broke a record of 37.37 seconds in Girls 50m Backstroke establishing a new record of 36.19 seconds.
Following were Gaurang, Shaurya, Mridansh and Shivam in Boys Relay breaking the record of 2 minutes and 8.40 seconds and setting a new benchmark of 2 minutes and 5.66 seconds.
The event concluded with the announcement of the results and the distribution of the awards.

This Swimming Meet not only gave the swimmers a platform to display their athletic prowess but also instilled in them the spirit of sportsmanship.
