The Bioconquest is an interclass biology quiz for 10th-grade students, inspired by the vision of the late Dr. Rani Ramrakhiani. She was a beloved teacher known for her exceptional teaching skills and a profound passion for the field of Biology.
Her eldest son, Dr. Dilip Ramrakhiani, graced the event with his presence. He is the current professor of pathology at SMS Medical College and an alumnus of this esteemed institution.
During the quiz, all the teams displayed remarkable wit and wisdom, and the results are as follows: The 1st prize of Rs. 3000/- was awarded to Team Swift (10-E), the 2nd prize of Rs. 2000/- went to Team Raven (10-D), and the 3rd prize of Rs. 1400/- was secured by Team Robin (10-F).
The Biocontest for the year 2023-24 concluded with Arohi Khandelwal and Kaustubh Krishna delivering the Vote of Thanks. The event emphasized that the true measure of success lies not only in victory but also in the valuable lessons learned, including the significance of teamwork, dedication, creativity, and effective management.
