Levelling from duet and group singing to finding its way into classical and western dance; originating as mere competition but concluding as an esteemed evening cherished by all, the Madhukar Malvea singing and dance competition turned out to be a huge success and left everyone awestruck.
The classical dance performances began with students from the senior school putting up a show for the audience in various Indian dance forms, ranging from Bharatnatyam to Kathak. Thumping hearts, flamboyant outfits flowing in a riot of colours, fervent melodies and dazed eyes filled the room as the dancers rung up the curtains through their elegant performances. The performances, graced with the finesse of sways and swirls, perfectly assimilated the values of cooperation and competition with a healthy spirit left the audience filled with awe.
The western dance category gave a steadfast boost to the already euphoric audience. The vigour exhibited by all performers from all houses gave even more purpose to the whole event. Despite the spate of performances, monotony was not observed, all houses presented with them a sui generis character. Equally stimulating and virtuous was the approbatory applause and support provided by the soectators to the performers. The event marked an enthralling depiction of various forms of music and dances, where the a platform was provided to all the young artists with a huge audience.
